Poetry Tuesdays: Jammed up
I have been doing Poetry Tuesday on my own for a while. Pretty much just look for poetry prompts and then write a poem a week. I usually only post my favorites but I decided this would be a cool way to link up to other people that like writing poetry for fun.
Here's how it works:
I'll post a prompt and we'll all have a week to write a poem. It can be short and simple or complex and long. Each Tuesday my blog will be dedicated to that. So there will be a place where you can link up past poems.
Here's the prompt for this Tuesday:
Stuck
Have you ever been locked in a closet or stuck in an elevator? What did you feel like doing? What did you think about? Is there one thing you really wished you had with you, like a chocolate bar or a CD player? Don't feel that you have to answer all of these questions; just use them for inspiration.
Whether you're drawing on personal experience or relying on your imagination, write a poem about the feeling of being confined to a small place for an indefinite amount of time.
